Progressive Design Playgrounds
Oceanside, California
Progressive Design Playgrounds encourage children's
imaginative play with creative, bright, colorful play structures, while
considering the environment of their future. Progressive Design Playgrounds build state-of-the-art play space for
children while preserving the earth's natural resources by using 100% recycled
plastic lumber transformed from disposed milk cartons. Each structure saves 10
to 20 trees and keeps millions of milk containers from landfills.
Progressive Design Playgrounds will complement our
increasing need to keep our communities "green". The play structures
are bright and colorful and are safer and more durable than comparable
equipment produced from wood or metal. The process of recycling milk
cartons into strong, durable plastic provides a specific need for waste
products and an great opportunity to keep the disposed cartons from the
landfills where they will not decompose. At the same time, the
recycled plastic will provide untold years of fun for today's children and
the children of their future.
Progressive Design Playgrounds use 100% high-density
polyethylene recycled plastic lumber. These play structures are safe,
durable and virtually maintenance free. They last longer because they
are more resilient to extreme sun, wind, snow and other weather issues.
